Since 2017, Uroš is an Associate Professor for the field of Thermal and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana and the head of the Laboratory for Heating, Sanitary, Solar and Air Conditioning Engineering (LOSK). His main focus is teaching and research on topic of energy storages. He is an ASHRAE member and the president of Slovenian Society for Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (SITHOK) in REHVA association. In 2012 he has become Slovenian delegate in IEA-ECES. The International Energy Agency, based in Paris, is an autonomous agency linked with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). His main contribution to project HEART is the research and development of latent thermal energy storage.
